| Help needed | Leaders and Assistants wanted.
Are there any parents out there who would consider offering some time on a regular basis and doing some training? You may already have some experience/training with the Scout Association, but it is not essential as training can be given. Or is there anyone out there who is already a trained Leader but not currently with a Group, who would be interested in getting involved again? Or have you come across anyone else, at work, neighbours, friends through other activities, etc, who either has some experience or who you think would be interested in getting involved? Scouting desperately needs more adults! There are plenty of youngsters wanting to join the scout movement, and as parents we would like our children to have activities to do rather than getting bored or getting into trouble, but without more adults willing to give their time, this will not happen. Can you help?

| Communications |
The majority of parents now have access to the internet either at home or at work, so it would save the Group time and money to communicate mainly by email. It would also prevent children missing out on letters when they miss a session, or losing letters on the way home. If you have not been receiving letters or information from 2nd Frampton by email recently, it's because I don't have a current email address for you! If you are one of those people, PLEASE email me now at Louise@slharrison.freeserve.co.uk with your latest email address and the name of your child so that you will not miss out in the future. We do produce some paper copies of letters and information for people who do not have internet access, but children sometimes forget to take these home and not all parents keep their eye on the noticeboard in the pavillion - some children may be missing out on trips and activities because parents are not aware of them.
